Jardines de San Juan

Come and enjoy some really good Mexican food at this indoor/outdoor restaurant. From delicious Chimichangas to Mexican Hot Chocolate Homemade Ice Cream, this restaurant is perfect for a family lunch or brunch! Come here to San Juan Bautista for a getaway with your family or some friends.

Location: San Juan Bautista (town), CA
Rating: ****
Cuisine: Seafood/American

Specialties/Favorites:
  • Chimichangas (fried burritos - on appetizer menu - about 10 pieces)
  • Mexican Hot Chocolate Homemade Ice Cream (see ** for more details)
  • Burritos (beans and beef/chicken - my brother recommends this!)
Setting: Large. Indoor/Outdoor. Open aired. Garden.
Service: Pretty Friendly.

Good things: Good variety of food. Nice servers.
Bad things: Takes a long time to receive food.

*This authentic Mexican restaurant is perfect for families and tourists who are coming to see the Mission.

**Their Mexican Hot Chocolate Ice Cream is so good! It is like no other ice cream you have ever had! It has nuts and you can definitely taste the cinnamon. If you just want a bite and you are a big group (like 10ish), get two orders (too big scoops), so everyone can have a taste! It is now my favorite type of ice cream. :)
