Atlantis Pizzaria/Family Restaurant

This popular family-owned restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy some authentic thin-crust Pizza with your choice of salad or hot soup. The service is fantastic and it's a place you will truly come back to. It is also a Greek restaurant.

Location: Alexandria, VA
Rating: ****
Cuisine: Italian/Greek
Specialties/Favorites:

  • Baked Spaghetti
  • Any topping Pizza
Setting: Great! Can get crowded/noisy.
Service: Great! Super nice.

Good things: Rich food. Service. Setting.
Bad things: It is very rich food, so it's really meant to be a 'once-in-a-while' restaurant.

*This is one of our favorites here in VA. The family should make more!

Quoc Ky

This small, authentic Vietnamese restaurant is definitely one of the places you should visit. Even though it's not the prettiest on the outside, their food is delicious. They are known for their tasteful Pho Sate.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Rating: ***
Cuisine: Vietnamese
Specialties/Favorites:

  • Pho Sate (a little spicy)
Setting: Small. Dirty. 'Street Eatery' kind of feel.
Service: Ok.

Good things: Pho Sate. Cheap!!
Bad things: Dirty. Not a nice setting (steel tables, plastic chairs).

*Good authentic Pho Sate. A little spicy. If you're a risk-taker, come here! Only Vietnamese spoken.
